I am writing to you to let you know what a wonderful experience I had getting my new carpeting from your store in San Mateo.
I had originally purchased a carpet with them that I subsequently decided was not right for me. I went back and fortunately had the good luck to deal with Paul Henthorn. In the interim, I had found a carpet at one of your competitors, but Paul was able to get me the same thing and give me a competitive price. I am so glad I decided to go ahead with it!
This whole process has taken a lengthy period of time as I was having remodel work done and things dragged out much longer than I expected. Paul was very patient with me, took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel that he would make sure everything came out just as I wanted.
The installer Jose and his crew were also terrific. He took the time to explain everything to me and did an exceptional job with a couple of very tricky areas I have that have very uneven heights.
However, the next day I noticed what I thought was a problem with one area of the carpet and had to call Paul. He was very reassuring, came right out to look at the area (which by then had almost disappeared just as he said it would) and even helped adjust my closet doors while he was here!
So often what we hear from customers are complaints so I wanted to be sure and give these exceptional employees the recognition they deserve. What terrific workmanship and customer service ‑ I couldn’t be happier!
